Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is a model, actor, businesswoman, inventor and model. Her career began at the Australian home of her parents and then moving to Hollywood where she found great successes. George George was born in Perth and initially became fascinated by skating, dance and various other artsy activities. George first began modeling as an teen and was awarded Western Australia's Model of the Year Award for Teenage Model in the year 1992. Her first screen appearance was in an episode of the Seven Network soap opera Home and Away. She had her big-screen debut in the mystery thriller Dark City and essayed various support roles in films like Alias The Limey and Down with Love prior to making her first appearance as a female lead on a mainstream Hollywood project, in the 2005 adaptation of The Amityville Horror . Currently, she is among the most-wanted Australian ex-pats employed within American entertainment. As an entrepreneur George has introduced her own invention Style Snaps into the market.
